Scott Fitzgerald waits
between
Markus Zusak and
John Green.
 
A cloud passes
and a purr
can be heard
from the judge
on the window sill.
 
The audience rests
in the corner chair
turning the page.
 
There's a crack in her coffee cup
where she has kissed
a few too many times.
