Set in Butterworth, Malaysia, Dear Daphne follows a high school senior preparing for her SPM national exams. These exams are so stressful that some students resort to suicide if they don't pass. In the midst of this pressure, Daphne is pursued by a mentally unstable love interest (Isaac) who threatens to harm himself and her boyfriend Cody if she does not return his feelings.

Nicole Tan is a 3rd year music major, currently working on Writing Certificate. She's also a columnist and translator for Paramita magazine.
